Details about Pickaway-Ross Career and Technology Center Lineman Certificate Program
This course is offered in partnership with American Electric Power. It is designed to prepare the student to enter the profession as a Class D Power Lineworker. Students participating in the program will receive Class A truck driver training plus instruction in: pole climbing, pole setting, operation of a Bucket Truck, and Digger Derrick, stringing primary and secondary wire, service drops, hanging cross arms, performing hurt man rescue, basic electricity, employability and job search assistance.
