Lineman Apprenticeships at Wasco Electric
Constructs and maintains the system’s distribution, transmission lines and regulatory equipment as directed by the Working Foreman or Lineman and per specifications of WEC and pertinent electrical and safety codes.
Responds to outage reports; locates and repairs the reasons for the outages.
Maintains tools, equipment, transportation, and protective gear and informs foreman when replacement of such is needed. Observes and reports to foreman any hazards or potential hazards on the system.
Operates transportation and other equipment used to accomplish the work. Accounts for materials and equipment used.
