Lineman Apprenticeships at RES
Lineworker apprentices at RES will experience with both sticking and gloving methods of work Apprentices will learn all aspects of Line work while completing on the job training (OJT) hours. Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Operate heavy and light equipment including digger derricks, aerial lift devices, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, dump trucks and various dirt equipment. Apprentice must, at all times, follow all safety policies and procedures
RES Journeyman Lineman Jobs
Journeyman lineman at RES The duties of a Lineman (or line worker) include installing and repairing new wiring systems, and inspecting and testing existing systems for optimal performance. A Lineman will climb poles and tower structures using a safety harness, or operate and ride a “cherry picker” truck with a mounted enclosed platform to lift the Lineman to the level of the wiring and electrical boxes that need repairs.
